Why I’ll NEVER Camp in Small Town New Jersey Ever Again! | Campground Review: Four Seasons Family Campground (Near Philadelphia)

Watch the video on YouTube!

We stayed at Four Seasons for a total of 5 weeks. The main reason was price, as the monthly rate we paid was $600 (excluding electricity which totaled to $134).

About the Park

The park was gated, and we always felt secure. The location was okay, about 45 minutes from Philadelphia and 5 minutes to the closest town with groceries/fuel/coffee.

The feel of the park was very family-friendly. There were always tons of kids during the weekends and even during the week.

There were a lot of sites and campers that were permanent, unkempt, and honestly- trashy looking. Some parts of the park looked better than others, but honestly permanent sites with 40 year old trailers with attached porches and sheds just doesn’t look good. it pervades all parts of the park.

The staff was a mixed lot; some were incredibly rude, and some were friendly and helpful.

The amenities were what made up for everything else being sub-par. The laundry, pool, camp store, and dog park were all superb.

About our Site

Our first site (that was assigned to us) was wayyyy too small for our 38′ fifth wheel. After demanding another one (they were being very difficult with us), they put us in a site that was very spacious (#444). HOWEVER, it was very unlevel (both ways)- so much so that our front landing gear could not have gone up any more and we almost couldn’t make it work! Also, the dirt/gravel pad was washing away at the back of the site, so that was a concern. Every time it rained we hoped it wouldn’t slide our RV backwards with the dirt!

The Sam Score

  1. Price: 1/10
  2. Location: 4/10
  3. Appearance: 4/10
  4. Site: 4/10
  5. Atmosphere: 2/10
  6. Amenities: 7/10

Total: 22/60

We would not stay here again!
